Located in Lakeland, Florida, just outside of downtown, Pneuma Christian School was birthed from the hearts and vision of Senior Pastors Shawn & Abigail Scarborough.

PCS is based inside Family Worship Center’s Joy Center, a facility recently transformed through major renovations that have made the building feel brand new. While construction took less than two years, the vision for Pneuma was born long before. When Pastors Shawn & Abigail became the Senior Pastors of Family Worship Center in 2020, they carried with them not only a passion for building a church that would impact the local community, but also a vision for a school that would shape students in the community every day.

At Pneuma Christian School, the Gospel is at the center of everything we do. Our mission is to provide a fresh approach to education—one where students are nurtured, rooted, and disciplined in both academic and spiritual foundations.
